Kansas City Roos rout Kansas Christian in home opener following upset at Mizzou
Josiah Allick and Anderson Kopp scored 17 points apiece as the Kansas City Roos men’s basketball team rolled past Kansas Christian 99-36 in a home opener on Wednesday night at Swinney Recreation Center.
Caden Boser added 13 points for the Roos, while Timothy Barnes and Jack Chapman each had 11 and Marvin Nesbitt 10. Chapman and Nesbitt had eight rebounds each, while Boser posted seven rebounds.
The Roos (2-2) were coming off a win at Missouri on Monday night after opening the season with losses at Minnesota and Iowa.
Javarius Washington had 10 points for the Falcons, who compete in the National Christian College Athletic Association.
Missouri State romps Sam Houston
Isiaih Mosley scored 21 points as Missouri State romped past Sam Houston 77-55 on Wednesday night in Huntsville, Texas.
Gaige Prim had 17 points and 13 rebounds for Missouri State (2-1). Ja’Monta Black added 15 points. Keaton Hervey had 11 points.
Jarren Cook had 12 points for the Bearkats (1-2) as did Savion Flagg.
