Yor Anei, a 6-foot-10 junior-to-be at Oklahoma State and graduate of Lee’s Summit West High School, has announced that he plans to leave Stillwater and transfer to a yet-to-be-determined program.

He averaged 8.1 points (on 48.4% shooting), 4.6 rebounds and 1.9 blocks per game for the Cowboys during the 2019-20 season.

Anei originally chose OSU over UAB, Denver and Central Arkansas.

“Hello ‘OSU world.’ I would like to thank all of you for supporting me over the past two years,” he wrote on Twitter. “I had a phenomenal experience playing in front of the diehard fans in Stillwater. Coming in as a shy kid from Kansas (he started his high school career at Shawnee Mission South), you all embraced me with open arms from the community to the coaching staff.

“I am forever grateful to the coaching staff for giving me a chance to pursue my dreams . … I will forever be a Poke.”

Anei has not yet identified any possible transfer destinations.
