The Wichita Wings soccer team suffered its first road loss of the season Saturday in Amarillo, Texas.

The host Amarillo Bombers beat the Wings 7-5.

The Wings (7-3) remain in second place in MASL 2 behind the undefeated Chihuahua (Mexico) Savage (10-0). They’re still in favorable position to claim one of the league’s four semifinal spots for the postseason.

With the regular season winding down, Wichita’s next game is Sunday, March 8, against Colorado Inferno FC in Colorado Springs, Colo.

The MASL 2 semifinals and championship match will take place at Park City’s Hartman Arena next month.

The two-day event in April will consist of four games, with the two semifinal matches set for April 5 and consolation and championship games being played April 6.
