Kansas special session, Missouri campaigns top the political agenda as 2021 ends

COVID-19 mitigation programs, “critical race theory,” criminal justice reform.

All are expected political topics in Kansas and Missouri in 2022 — and we’re getting a preliminary look at those debates, and others, at the end of 2021.

On today’s “4Star Politics,” hosts Dave Helling of The Star and John Holt of Fox 4 Kansas City meet with journalist Sam Zeff of KCUR to discuss these trends, and others.

The group takes up the recent Kevin Strickland case, the COVID special session in Kansas and other stories involving lawmakers and the justice system.

“4Star Politics” is a joint production of The Star and WDAF-TV.
