Amanda Adkins gives Trump a C+, and Nicole Galloway pushes for tougher COVID response

Kansas Republican congressional candidate Amanda Adkins gives President Donald Trump a C+ for his overall response to the COVID-19 emergency.

Adkins, who is running in Kansas’ 3rd District, said the president deserves a higher grade for supply management, but the overall effort has been slightly above average.

Adkins made the comments on “4Star Politics,” in an interview with hosts John Holt of FOX4 Kansas City and Dave Helling of The Kansas City Star Editorial Board.

The program also includes Nicole Galloway, the Democratic candidate for Missouri governor. Galloway talked about the state’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, criticizing her opponent, incumbent Gov. Mike Parson.

As she has in the past, Galloway said she supports a statewide mask requirement, as well as other steps to mitigate the spread of the coronavirus.

This week’s show features a third segment analyzing Tuesday’s debate between Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden. Jason Grill and Annie Presley, local political consultants, join the program.
