Letters: Trump and a Russian bounty on US troops’ heads: What more do you need to hear?
One more piece
The lack of outrage from President Donald Trump toward Russian President Vladimir Putin putting bounties on our military again confirms everything we need to know about this president and his priorities. (June 29, 1A, “Trump denies he was briefed on Russia putting bounties on US troops”)
Disgraceful.

True outrage
With new reporting by The New York Times, confirmed by NBC News and others, that Russian President Vladimir Putin has paid bounties to the Taliban in Afghanistan for the assassination of American service members, our fake, man-child president has proved beyond any doubt his amorality and has forsaken any legitimate claim to his presidency.
Although the president continually extols his supposed love of and concern for members of our armed forces, the admonition, “Watch what he does, not what he says,” is now a truism.
The president reportedly was presented this information as early as March. Yet more than three months later, not only has he said nothing — he has done nothing. Whether he is more ignorant or indifferent is unknowable.
Where is any comment from Sens. Pat Roberts (a Marine veteran) and Jerry Moran? They are apparently members of the president’s Republican cadre of sycophantic Senate enablers (save Sen. Mitt Romney) who have inflicted upon our country the stench of incompetence, corruption, amorality and unfitness that will require time, action and a totally infallible voting commitment to extinguish.
