Santa Claus has come to town. As some noted upon his arrival in Kansas City, Chiefs coach Andy Reid bears a strong resemblance to jolly ol’ Saint Nick. Beyond being a lookalike, Reid is a do-alike: He continues to deliver football presents.
Four consecutive division titles make for a remarkable accomplishment. A cerebral axis centerpiece of that thinking man’s success is how the wheels keep on turning.
Midway through the season, there was a recognition that an all-pass-and-no-run offense needed more balance. After all, the best pass protection is a good ground game.
