Monday Poll results: Bad news for Donald Trump on GOP unity and women voters

At this point in the presidential campaign, Donald Trump isn’t given much hope of unifying the Republican Party behind him or of attracting more votes than now expected from women.

That’s how about 900 respondents to this week’s Monday Poll see those issues and more in the 2016 race, just days after the two remaining opponents to Trump’s candidacy dropped out.

1. Trump will successfully unite the Republican Party and its supporters around his candidacy in the Nov. 8 election.

2. Extensive protests against Trump will disrupt the GOP convention in July in Cleveland.
