The presidential campaigns are getting frostier — but not in a good, Mayor Sly James kind of “frosty” way.

While Kansas City’s leader often uses that term to describe something upbeat happening in his city, the leading Democratic and Republican candidates have almost nothing positive to say about each other these days. A chill is in the air.
