Monday Poll results: Led by Eric Hosmer, Royals will repeat as World Series champs
Led by first baseman Eric Hosmer, the Kansas City Royals will win their third straight American League crown and repeat as World Series champions.
Those are the optimistic (realistic?) views of just over 500 respondents to this week’s Monday Poll regarding the 2016 Major League Baseball season.
The first game of the year pits the Royals against the World Series-losing New York Mets on Sunday night at Kauffman Stadium.
