Monday Poll results: A loud ‘no’ to anti-gay resolution

The Missouri Senate recently approved a resolution that would allow some businesses to deny services to same-sex couples.

But the issue wasn’t nearly as popular with those who took part in The Star’s Monday Poll.

About 500 respondents generally expressed alarm about the resolution, including how it could affect the state if the House passes it and statewide voters approve it.

1) Businesses should be able to refuse services like cakes, floral arrangements and even adoption of children if they have religious objections to same-sex marriage.
