The Monday Poll: Is controversial Missouri measure about freedom or discrimination?
It was quite a week in Jefferson City. After a record-setting 39-hour filibuster by Democrats the Missouri Senate passed a resolution that would allow some businesses to deny services to same-sex couples. Democrats retaliated by using procedural tactics to hold up Senate business for another full day.
Senate Joint Resolution 39 will move to the House. If approved there, it will go on a statewide ballot later this year for voter approval.
