President Barack Obama and a few of his policies scored pretty big victories over Kansas Gov. Sam Brownback and his policies in this week’s Monday Poll.

With both elected officials scheduled Tuesday to give major speeches about their goals for 2016, we asked about whether you agreed with Obama or Brownback on guns, taxes and refugees.

Here are the results from about 1,100 responses to the unscientific poll:

1. Obama’s decision to promote stronger gun control measures is better than Brownback’s push for easier access to guns.

Disagree 2%

Disagree strongly 11%

2. Brownback’s act of cutting taxes on high-income individuals is preferable to Obama’s efforts to boost taxes on the rich.

3. Obama’s support for relocating Syrian refugees in America is better than Brownback’s bid to keep them out.

4. Brownback in a recent poll was named America’s least popular governor; Obama’s approval rating has been mired below 50 percent for almost the last three years. Which politician will you miss most when he’s gone?
