The Monday Poll: President Barack Obama vs. Gov. Sam Brownback

President Barack Obama and Kansas Gov. Sam Brownback pretty obviously are not political peas in a pod.

But on Tuesday both elected officials will have the same goal: Give speeches that clearly and persuasively outline their priorities for 2016.

Obama will take part in his final State of the Union that night; Brownback understandably will get less attention for his State of the State address a few hours earlier.
