The Monday Poll results on climate change

Responses to the Monday Poll rolled in as President Barack Obama and other leaders from more than 100 nations gathered in Paris for the United Nations climate summit.

The results from more than 1,050 responses generally fell in line with Obama’s contentions that countries need to take serious action that will reduce global warming — and its potentially disastrous effects on the Earth.

1) The growing use of fossil fuels is responsible for melting polar ice, causing sea levels to rise, threatening shorelines and making storms more violent.
