We asked you to weigh in on the recent events in Ferguson, Mo. — including a grand jury’s decision not to indict Police Officer Darren Wilson in the shooting death of Michael Brown.

Among other results, a majority of respondents remain skeptical that relations between police and black communities will improve in the aftermath of the decision and ongoing protests.

Here are the results of the unscientific survey, based on as many as 1,350 responses:

1) The unusual grand jury proceeding was ...

Fair to both Darren Wilson and Michael Brown 72%

Fair only to Darren Wilson 17%

Fair only to Michael Brown 1%

Unfair to both Wilson and Brown 10%

2) A grand jury inquiry was the wrong way to decide whether to bring charges against Wilson.

Agree 22%

Disagree 78%

3) I would rate Gov. Jay Nixon’s leadership on Ferguson as:

Very good 3%

Acceptable under tough circumstances 29%

Inadequate 38%

Unacceptable 29%

4) The struggles in Ferguson will result in better relations between police and black citizens in the U.S.

Agree strongly 2%

Agree somewhat 15%

Disagree somewhat 30%

Disagree strongly 53%
