The Monday Poll: What’s next for Obamacare?
As the Affordable Care Act begins its second year of enrollment in the insurance exchanges, more Americans continue to express negative opinions of the law than those who regard it favorably.
But millions of people are benefiting from its provisions, and many components of the law are popular. They appreciate receiving free preventive health care services and like the idea that young people can remain on their parents’ insurance plans through age 25.
Leaders of the GOP-controlled Congress are still vowing to “repeal and replace” Obamacare, and a decision by the U.S. Supreme Court to hear a new challenge to the law could prove ominous.
