The official voting date in Kansas — and everywhere else in America — is Nov. 4.

But thanks to a good state law that encourages higher turnout, early voting has started in the Sunflower State.

Plus, the airwaves are full of he-said, she-said commercials these days. They include talk of higher taxes, supposed broken promises and even some nonsense about how President Barack Obama and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid seem to be involved in every race.

All of that makes this an appropriate time to check the pulse of what Kansans are thinking as they go to the polls.

(Sorry, Missouri, no early voting for you; it’s only allowed through restricted absentee balloting.)

So, the Monday Poll would like you to weigh in on a few election-related issues. Mobile users, go here to take the poll.
