Gift bag, anyone? Give us your guess on Election Day turnout in Kansas City

It might take more than just words to get Kansas Citians interested in Tuesday’s elections.

How about ... a Kansas City Star gift bag?

Here’s the deal: Send us your guess on how many people will vote in the mayoral race. (In 2011, it was around 72,000.)

Put that guess in the subject line of an email and send to oped@kcstar.com. Deadline is 11:59 p.m. Monday.

The Star will notify the winner Wednesday, the day after Election Day. Remember? That’s the day to go vote!
