Royals sell 20,000 FanFest tickets, breaking attendance record

The Royals’ American League championship season brought a record number of fans to the team’s annual FanFest this weekend.

According to Royals vice president Toby Cook, 20,000 tickets were sold to the two-day event at Bartle Hall. That shattered last year’s record attendance of 11,000.
