Eric Hosmer will sit out another game because of his bruised right hand, and Royals manager Ned Yost doubts Hosmer will play at all in this series against the White Sox.

Yost hopes Hosmer can return for Thursday’s game against the Indians at Kauffman Stadium. Hosmer was hit with a pitch on Sunday.

“He wanted to try to push it today,“ Yost said. “But he still has some weakness in his hand.”
