Minor-league baseball team will wear chihuahua-inspired jerseys

So you never got around to buying that Jeff Francoeur Royals jersey?

Not to worry, something better is coming.

Francoeur is now playing in for the San Diego Padres’ Class AAA affiliate in El Paso, Texas. On Aug. 3, the Chihuahuas will have their annual Bark at the Park event. These are the are the jerseys the team will be wearing:

The jerseys will be auctioned off before and during the game with proceeds going to the Humane Society of El Paso.
