Ten Royals spring-training games will be televised
Another result of the Royals’ success is an increase in spring-training games being televised.
The Royals and Fox Sports Kansas City announced Wednesday that 10 spring-training games will be televised, starting with a March 12 game against the Arizona Diamondbacks from Scottsdale, Ariz.
Previously, the most spring-training games showed on Fox Sports Kansas City was four, and that was last year.
The Royals said five of the telecasts will have Fox Sports Kansas City announcers Ryan Lefebvre, Steve Physioc, Rex Hudler, Joel Goldberg and Jeff Montgomery. Four games will have one announcer from Fox Sports Kansas City and one from the opposing team. The March 24 game against Milwaukee in Maryvale, Ariz., will have the Brewers’ announcers.
The Royals’ two-game series with the Rangers in San Antonio are part of the schedule.
