Right fielder Jorge Bonifacio and second baseman Angel Franco each hit a home run Wednesday as Class AA Northwest Arkansas won 8-2 over Arkansas.
Starter Andy Ferguson, 5-6, gave up two runs on eight hits over 7 2/3 innings. He struck out four and walked two. Ferguson is 3-1 with a 1.63 ERA in four starts this month, during which time he has struck out 21 and walked eight.
Bonifacio also had a double and knocked in a pair of runs. Third baseman Cheslor Cuthbert had three hits, including two doubles, and two RBIs. Left fielder Mark Threlkeld and left fielder Justin Trapp each had a pair of hits.

**Closer Spencer Patton had a nightmare ninth inning, allowing five runs while getting just two outs and Class AAA Omaha lost 10-5 to Albuquerque. The Storm Chasers trailed 5-3, but Johnny Giavotella’s double scored Brian Bocock in the seventh, and Francisco Pena’s sacrifice fly brought home Brett Eibner to tie the game. But Patton got the first out in the ninth, then a runner reached on a wild pitch following a strikeout. The Isotopes got a single and a sacrifice fly in taking the lead. After a walk, Patton gave up a three-run homer and the next batter also homered. Giavotella and Pena each had two RBIs, while Danny Valenica went one for four. Starter Bruce Chen had 11 strikeouts in 5 1/3 innings and gave up two runs on three hits with a walk.
**Jake Newberry allowed two runs (one earned) in 5 1/3 innings and rookie-Advanced Idaho Falls beat Orem 5-3. First baseman Samir Duenez had two hits for the Chukars.
