Gordon’s circus non-catch in GIF form

Minutes after robbing Angels slugger Albert Pujols of a home run, Royals left fielder Alex Gordon was robbed of the catch itself.

Gordon appeared to make a great circus catch in left field on Saturday night, but the Angels challenged the play and it was ruled that it wasn’t a catch.

Even if it wasn’t, it was quite an effort by Gordon.

The ball bounced all over his head and body and he still managed to end up grabbing it. Whether or not it hit the ball is another story.
