Royals are holding a free playoff rally Tuesday at Kauffman Stadium
The Royals will hold a free rally for fans on Oct. 6 at Kauffman Stadium, two days before they open the 2015 postseason with Game 1 of the American League Division Series.
Fans can watch interviews with players on the stadium video board and general manager Dayton Moore and manager Ned Yost are also expected to speak. The team is also scheduled to take batting practice. The Royals’ team store and some concession stands will be open to sell merchandise, and the Royals will also give away prizes.
Parking gates open at 10 a.m. and gates to the stadium open at 11:15 a.m. Moore and Yost will be shown on the video board at 11:45 a.m. with the rally starting at 12:15 p.m. Batting practice and player interviews will follow at 1 p.m. When the rally ends, the Royals are asking fans to exit the stadium by 2:30 p.m.
