Every starter has an RBI as Lexington rolls to win

Class A Lexington hit three home runs Wednesday and every starter had at least one RBI in an 11-2 victory at Asheville.

Designated hitter Fred Ford and left fielder Tyler Chism hit solo shots in the second inning and right fielder Elier Hernandez hit a solo homer in the fourth inning. The Legends were up 4-0 when they scored six runs in the sixth inning.

Catcher Chad Johnson had two doubles, while third baseman Carlos Garcia and Chism each had two hits and scored twice. Center fielder Alfredo Escalera-Maldonado and shortstop Humberto Arteaga also had two hits each.

Starter Luis Rico, 1-4, pitched two-hit ball over seven innings. He struck out five and walked one.
