A dinosaur threw out the first pitch at Royals game (video)

It was kind of a weird day at the ballpark on Wednesday and not just because fans are unaccustomed to seeing the Royals throttle an opponent.

Yeah, that happened as the Royals thumped the Padres 8-0 in San Diego for their largest margin of victory this season. We might have known it was going to be an odd day when a dinosaur threw out the ceremonial first pitch. Yep, a dinosaur:
