All four of Royals minor-league affiliates lose on Sunday

Daniel Stumpf and two relievers combined on an eight-hitter Sunday, but Class A-Advanced Wilmington lost 1-0 to Winston-Salem.

The Blue Rocks managed just three hits in the game. Reliever Ali Williams allowed one hit and walked one in 2 1/3 innings with three strikeouts. Kyle Bartsch allowed one hit in his lone inning of work, and Stumpf gave up six hits, walked a batter and fanned five in 5 2/3 innings.

OTHER GAMES

**Brett Eibner had four hits, but Class AAA Omaha lost 5-3 at Nashville. Starter P.J. Walters allowed all five runs in 4 2/3 innings. He gave up nine hits, walked one and struck out five. Shortstop Jason Donald had two hits for the Storm Chasers, and first baseman Matt Fields added a double. He has a hit in all 11 Omaha games this season.

**J.C. Sulbaran allowed six runs in three innings and Class AA Northwest Arkansas lost 11-6 to Midland. Only two of the runs against Sulbaran were earned as the Naturals made four errors that led to five unearned runs. First baseman Mark Threlkeld had two hits, including a solo homer, and right fielder Jorge Bonifacio had two hits and three RBIs.

**West Virginia scored nine runs in the second inning and knocked off Class A Lexington 10-6. Legends starter Austin Fairchild gave up nine runs on just two hits, but he walked six in 1 1/3 innings. Luke Farrell relieved in the second inning with the bases loaded and served up a grand slam. Designated hitter Michael Antonio, second baseman Carlos Garcia and left fielder Fred Ford all had two hits.
