Royals agree to terms with all of 40-man roster

The Royals settled three more of their contracts with non-arbitration players on Saturday morning. Lefty Danny Duffy agreed to a$526,000 deal for 2014, second baseman Johnny Giovatella signed for $508,725 and outfielder Carlos Peguero signed for $504,250.

The team has now agreed to terms with all players on their 40-man roster.

It’s a dreary morning here at Surprise Stadium. A rainout may be coming. But until then, here is the lineup when the Padres get to won (theoretically):

1. Jarrod Dyson, CF.

2. Johnny Giovatella, 2B.

3. Eric Hosmer, 1B.

4. Billy Butler, DH.

5. Alex Gordon, LF.

6. Salvador Perez, C.

7. Mike Moustakas, 3B.

8. Justin Maxwell, RF.

9. Christian Colon, SS.

Jason Vargas gets the start. Following him will be Brad Penny, Aaron Crow, Greg Holland, Jon Rauch and Kelvin Herrera.
