Moustakas out with strained right hamstring
Royals manager Ned Yost said third baseman Mike Moustakas wasn’t in the lineup on Tuesday because of a strained right hamstring.
“He’s been playing through it for about the last eight or nine days,” Yost said.
“His last at-bat (in Tampa Bay), he scorched the ball up the middle and he was busting as hard as he could to try to beat it, and that’s when it felt it.”
