Danny Duffy opens eventful series for Royals in Toronto

It’s going to be an eventful weekend north of the border. Ben Zobrist joins the Royals on Thursday. Johnny Cueto makes his Kansas City debut on Friday. And the Royals will play a four-game series against the dangerous bats of the Blue Jays, a team that just added shortstop superstar Troy Tulowitzki.

Here are the pitching matchups for the series at Rogers Centre:

Thursday, 6:07 p.m.: LHP Danny Duffy (4-4, 4.03 ERA) vs. RHP Marco Estrada (7-6, 3.55 ERA)

Friday, 6:07 p.m.: RHP Johnny Cueto (7-6, 2.62 ERA) vs. RHP Drew Hutchinson (9-2, 5.42 ERA).

Saturday, 12:07 p.m.: RHP Yordano Ventura (5-7, 4.86 ERA) vs. LHP Mark Buehrle (11-5, 3.29 ERA).

Sunday, 12:07 p.m.: RHP Edinson Volquez (10-5, 3.21 ERA) vs. TBA
