Royals reliever Wade Davis was unavailable in the eighth inning on Wednesday because of stiffness in his neck. Manager Ned Yost did not intend to use Davis in Thursday’s game against the Orioles.
I think if we can give him another day, it would be beneficial to him,” Yost said. “He’s still a little stiff. A lot better than he was when he left here (Wednesday). But we’ve got the arms down there that can cover it.”
