Royals manager Ned Yost was asked Thursday about the development of outfielder Lorenzo Cain, who didn’t start playing baseball until his sophomore year in high school.
Yost remembered first seeing Cain as a prospect in the Brewers system.
“You could envision this kid with his skill set, even though it was raw early, that he would turn in to one heck of a baseball player,” Yost said. “It’s been fun watching him develop.”
