With an 8-1 record and a 2.71 ERA for Class AAA Omaha, Royals farmhand John Lamb earned a place on the Pacific Coast League All-Star Team, who will play in the Triple-A All-Star Game on July 15.

Lamb will be joined by teammate Louis Coleman, who entered Wednesday with a 1.42 ERA in 23 appearances. Coleman was an occasional contributor to the big-league club in the past, but fell out of favor in 2014 and has not pitched for Kansas City in 2015.

Lamb, a 25-year-old former top prospect, could make his major-league debut in 2015.
