Kris Medlen gives up two homers in rehab outing for Omaha

Kris Medlen experienced a bumpy but understandable afternoon in his third rehabilitation outing on Monday afternoon.

Medlen lasted 3 2/3 innings for Class AAA Omaha. He gave up two runs on a pair of home runs. He struck out none and walked none.

Medlen threw 72 pitches. He is expected to make as many as three more starts on his road back from his second Tommy John surgery. The team does not plan on recalling him from the disabled list until after the All-Star break.
