All that talk about the Royals’ postseason drought is in the past now, right?

So much so, that it’s worth noting that the Royals have been to the World Series more recently (1985) than the Orioles, who last were there in 1983.

The Royals have captured the nation’s fancy heading into the American League Championship Series, which opens Friday.
