Left-hander Danny Duffy completed his third rehabilitation outing on Wednesday, throwing 65 pitches over 3.2 innings for Class AAA Omaha against Iowa.
The 65 pitches were the target set by the Royals as Duffy recovers from left bicep tendinitis.
Duffy allowed two runs, one earned, and struck out six.
The idea is to work Duffy’s pitch count to 100. He’s set to pitch every five days and likely make two more starts in Omaha.
