Tommy Lasorda has advice on getting to heaven: root for Dodgers

The Ozark Mountain Daredevils sang about getting to heaven in a roundabout way.

In Field of Dreams, there was a heaven-Iowa connection. And, of course, the Bible has it all laid out for you.

And now former Los Angeles Dodgers manager Tommy Lasorda has gone to Twitter to offer his advice.

Of course, Lasorda is biased. He played for the Brooklyn Dodgers (and the Kansas City A’s), and was the manager in Los Angeles from 1976-96, winning four pennants and two World Series titles.

Needless to say, Lasorda was excited about the Dodgers clinching the NL West title on Wednesday night.
