C.C. Sabathia is the Yankees’ starting pitcher Saturday night, and that’s usually not good news for the Royals.

Sabathia owns an 18-11 lifetime record against the Royals, including an 11-5 mark at Kauffman Stadium. He hasn’t faced the Royals since July 2013; he is not off to a good start this season, with a 1-5 record and 5.20 ERA.

The Royals look to get a solid start from Danny Duffy, who has been miserable in his previous two outings.

Duffy (2-2, 5.67 ERA) surrendered four runs in one inning against the Indians on May 6, and gave up six in 3 2/3 against the Rangers on Monday.
