Ned Yost rearranges Royals lineup as KC looks to snap skid

Ned Yost likes to say lineup construction is overrated. For Saturday night’s game against the Red Sox, with his Kansas City club reeling, Yost completely re-arranged his lineup.

The highlights: Alcides Escobar is leading off, Nori Aoki is the designated hitter, Billy Butler is back on the bench, Lorenzo Cain is now batting third and Omar Infante has finally been dropped from the No. 2 spot.

Here are the lineups as RHP Jeremy Guthrie (10-11, 4.54 ERA) faces RHP Rubby De La Rosa (4-6, 4.01 ERA):
