Royals trade minor-league pitcher Angel Baez to Astros for cash considerations
The Royals shipped 24-year-old right-handed pitcher Angel Baez to the Houston Astros for cash considerations.
Baez posted a 4.65 ERA as a reliever at Class-AA Northwest Arkansas in 2014.
Baez struck out 71 batters in 62 innings. But he also issued 4.2 walks per nine innings.
