Salvador Perez returns to Royals’ lineup, won’t miss time due to knee injury

It’s as if the Royals never left Minneapolis. Rain is in the forecast, and Salvador Perez is in the lineup. Erik Kratz homered twice in Perez’s place, but he will still spend Tuesday on the bench.

Perez will not receive a night off, despite tweaking the patella in his right knee on Monday. Perez, as expected, referred to his current physical condition as “good.”
