Royals look to sweep Diamondbacks, gain ground on Tigers in American League Central

A loss by the Tigers this afternoon at Yankee Stadium opened the door for the Royals to gain more ground in the American League Central. With a victory on Thursday over Arizona, the Royals would complete a sweep and pull within 2 ½ games of Detroit.

Manager Ned Yost unfurled his usual lineup for this series finale.

Here are the lineups as Jeremy Guthrie (7-9, 4.50 ERA) faces Vidal Nuno (0-2, 3.07 ERA):
