Video: The Royals’ World Series run in 60 seconds

The Kansas City Star shot over 200 videos during the month of October, also referred to as Blue October, as the Kansas City Royals appeared in their first World Series since 1985. The team eventually lost to the San Francisco Giants in seven games.

During the month of October, we traveled by car from Kansas City to San Francisco, making stops in rural Kansas, the Rocky Mountains, Utah, the Grand Canyon and the Mojave Desert. Here is a 60-second look at that historic month.
