This week, Food & Wine Magazine featured a list of “Where to Find the Best Barbecue in Kansas City.

The list features eight popular barbecue joints: Arthur Bryant’s BBQ, Q39, Joe’s Kansas City, Gates Bar-B-Q, Fiorella’s Jack Stack Barbecue, Slap’s BBQ, RJ’s Bob-B-Que Shack and LC’s Barbeque. There’s no question that these restaurants are all notable for their finger-licking sauces and smoked meats, but this list leaves out plenty of strong contenders.

We’d like you to tell us your favorite barbecue restaurant. Is it one of those eight on the list or something that was unfairly overlooked? If you feel you need to try a few more spots before you send your nomination, check out this Kansas City area barbecue guide.

Once we’ve gathered a strong list of favorites from readers, we will put those entries into a Barbecue Bracket so all the smoke masters, sauce kings, and burnt end bigwigs can duke it out for the top spot.
