The watch had been issued for Leavenworth, Wyandotte, Johnson, Platte, Clay, Jackson, Miami, Linn, Macon, Ray, Carroll, Chariton, Randolph, Lafayette, Saline, Howard, Cass, Pettis, Cooper, Bates and Henry counties.
"The Flood Watch will expire for portions of Kansas, including the following areas, Johnson KS, Leavenworth, Linn KS, Miami and Wyandotte and Missouri, including the following areas, Bates, Carroll, Cass, Chariton, Clay, Cooper, Henry, Howard, Jackson, Johnson MO, Lafayette, Macon, Pettis, Platte, Randolph, Ray and Saline. The flooding threat has ended. Therefore, the Flood Watch will expire at 4 a.m. early this morning," says the National Weather Service.
The watch is in effect until 4 a.m.
