Clouds and drizzle possible Wednesday in Kansas City before weather warms into 80s

Despite some possible precipitation Wednesday morning, the forecast in Kansas City will remain pretty mild, said FOX4 meteorologist Karli Ritter.

“We’ll have a lot of cloud cover, some mist and some drizzle still possible, and that will be the case throughout the morning into the afternoon,” said Ritter, who provides weather updates to The Star.

Tuesday’s high temperatures could get into the upper 70s by the afternoon.

“Over tonight though, notice how the clouds start to break apart, and we will see more sunshine and as a result warmer temperatures for your Thursday with afternoon high topping out in the lower 80s then,” Ritter said.

High temperatures similar to Thursday’s are expected through Monday, with overnight lows pretty consistently hovering around 60 degrees.

“As we look ahead to the rest of the forecast, we have a few more days with 80s before we have a big change and a big drop heading our way for Tuesday of next week,” Ritter said.

Tuesday brings an extra chill in the air as the high temperature drops into the mid-60s.
