‘Nice day to be outside’ as Kansas City’s stretch of pleasant weather continues

Ample sunshine and temperatures just slightly above normal will make for a beautiful Tuesday in the Kansas City area, said FOX4 meteorologist Karli Ritter.

“We’re going to be talking about temperatures climbing back into the lower 80s — just a little bit above average,” said Ritter, who provides weather updates to The Star. “We are going to couple that with a lot of sunshine. It’s going to be a nice day to be outside.”

The average high for this time of year in the Kansas City area is 79 degrees, according to the National Weather Service in Kansas City.

As the week continues to unfold, it’s going to be pretty quiet with no rain or severe weather in the forecast.

“Weather should not be a nuisance all the way through the end of the week, which means we are going to have pretty nice conditions,” Ritter said.

“We are going to see a cold front move through on Thursday, bringing our numbers back down into the 70s for highs and that will continue through the weekend.”

Temperatures heat back up heading into the beginning of next week, Ritter said.
