Isolated storms possible in Kansas City for July Fourth. Here’s when it will clear out
Rain chances will persist throughout the day on July Fourth in the Kansas City area, though skies are expected to be clear by the evening, according to FOX4 meteorologist Garry Frank.
After severe storms in the southern part of the metro area Friday night, there is a 40% chance of scattered and isolated storms throughout the day Saturday, Frank said in a weather update for The Star.
“In general we’re in pretty good shape,” he said.
After the storm possibility, Frank said he expects heat and humidity throughout the week.
Temperatures in the Kansas City area are expected to stay in the 90s through the workweek. High temperatures will reach 94 on Thursday and Friday with “nominal” chances of rain, Frank said.
“Our mugginess just stays and gradually rises over the next couple of days,” he said.
